Mike Bird is Canadian to the core, but loves to escape the cold to see the world. Volunteering in Ecuador at 21 years old opened his eyes to the world of travel. After graduating from university with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology, he sold his car to buy a plane ticket to backpack Central America and South East Asia. Returning to the real world and scoring a corporate job in downtown Toronto that only lasted 6 months before he packed his bags again and moved to South Korea.
