Chelsea may be from Dallas, but she’s not your typical Texan; she believes there are bigger and better places out there, although she definitely still has an affinity for southern food and hospitality. After getting her master’s degree in professional writing, Chelsea’s wandering spirit brought her to San Francisco, where she currently works at a tech company. She’s written two complete novels and a screenplay and hopes that one day more people than just her professors will enjoy them. During college, Chelsea studied travel writing in Puerto Rico, but her love for travel truly set in when she spent a semester in Florence, Italy. After college, she backpacked through Europe and the next summer spent two months in Jordan. So far, the Italian culture and the beautiful Croatian coast have captured her heart the most. Chelsea has written for local publications in San Francisco and is a contributor to Blending Beautiful, a women’s lifestyle and beauty blog. When not getting lost in a book or writing her own, you can find her pinning away on Pinterest, exploring new places and cuisines in San Francisco, or dreaming about her next trip abroad.
